* Meeting top E.T.

All the entries were driven by top professional drivers, some of them National Champions.
The best cars were often the heaviest except in Class E where magnets provided the downforce. Cars with sponge tires had no traction and hopelessly spun their wheels.
The fastest of all ran a stock FLY motor, using two SLOT-IT Super Magnets and Indy-Grip silicone tires.
Russell Sheldon's cars were best overall, securing 3 out of 4 poles for his entries, the fourth car being second only to the meet's most surprising car, the 30 years old COX IFC McLaren with a stock FOX motor.
The 45-ohm controllers were the great equalizer. It shows the viability of a new form of racing where "hot" motors (I.E. costly) will be a thing of the past. Welcome to the TSRF!

Is this cool or what? This gorgeous little Lola T70 was made from a beat-up Monogram T70 body, expertly mounted on a near-stock FLY chassis. It is the handiwork of Scott Smith, of Renton, WA. USA.
